Arrive in Porto, Portugal’s second city and hit the ground running with a Portuguese lesson so you can learn to connect with the locals. During your stay in Porto you will be shown around by an expert guide. Get in touch with Porto’s famous alternative scene during a street art tour. Leave the city life behind and get ready to experience Portugal’s incredible nature. You will journey to Barca d’Alva for an exhilarating day of kayaking down the river Douro where you will visit the amazing rock art museum overlooking the Coa and Douro rivers. Once back on dry land, you will spend the night in the wilderness at a ‘rewilding camp’ in Portugal’s famous national park, Faia Brava. Wake up to the sounds of nature and learn about the flora and fauna of Portugal during a safari tour in the park. On your way to the seaside town of Figuera da Foz, stop off in medieval Coimbra to see one of the world’s oldest universities, steeped in over 500 years of history. Explore Portugal’s diverse landscape by bike along the coast towards Concha Beach. Your tour will end in Portugal’s capital, Lisbon, where you will enjoy guided sightseeing and get in touch with both Lisbon’s alternative side and age-old traditions.
